Technologically superior. Individually implemented.

  • Individually planned systems for complex applications
Our systems are individually designed, planned on a project-specific basis and precisely tailored to the respective water system. We take into account the water quality, system structure, operating conditions and specific loads – for technically precise, integrated solutions with stable, long-term results.
  • Targeted control of biological processes
In systems with an increased amount of biofilm, such as cooling towers, our technology enables the effective reduction of existing biofilms and the sustainable control of microbiological processes. At the same time, the formation of new biofilms is specifically prevented and operational safety is increased in the long term.
  • Chemical-free. Precise. Sustainable.
Our technology works completely without chemical additives and is based on high-frequency ultrasound. Biological contamination is effectively reduced without affecting the system – for sustainable and resource-saving water treatment.
Lifetech Ultraschallreaktor

The LifeTech ultrasound procedure

This cavitation cloud can influence pollutants in water in a special way: it acts directly in the medium of water and supports the reduction of undesirable organic and inorganic components. This makes it possible to address substances that are difficult to treat using conventional methods.

A decisive advantage: the process works without the use of chemicals – and is therefore particularly environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The technology behind it

The effect of ultrasound can be seen in the video: cavitation creates bubbles that perforate aluminum foil in water – proof of the physical effect. This briefly generates temperatures of up to 5,000 °C and high pressure.

These processes destroy organic substances, reduce pathogenic substances and act against harmful substances. At the same time, drug residues are reduced and endocrine disruptors are inactivated.

Effective reduction of loads - directly in the system

Our technology specifically addresses:
  • Biofilms: central cause of performance losses in water systems
  • Legionella and bacteria: critical factors for water hygiene
  • Pathogenic substances: relevant microbiological contamination
  • Organic residues: e.g. from industrial or municipal processes

Water systems

Our systems are compact, powerful and flexible to integrate. They are suitable for the treatment of process water as well as for the treatment of water in technical and industrial applications.

Depending on the area of application, they can:

  • be integrated directly into the water cycle
  • contribute to the stabilization of existing systems
  • or for the targeted treatment of contaminated partial flows

Areas of application

Our systems are individually designed and planned on a project-specific basis. They are used in a wide range of applications, including factories and production plants with waste water, industrial water systems and applications in the beverage industry.

The solutions are also suitable for well and spring water systems, protective systems and bunkers as well as for agricultural irrigation systems. The treatment of biologically contaminated water systems is also a key area of application.

Saving energy costs

Annual water consumption

Let’s assume a hotel with 100 rooms consumes an average of 60 liters of water per room per day. This results in an annual hot water consumption of 2,190,000 liters.

In most countries around the world, it is common practice to heat tap water to 70 degrees Celsius in order to kill legionella and other bacteria.

Our system allows us to avoid this heating. Our technology kills bacteria regardless of the water temperature.

Energy savings per liter

By avoiding heating to 70 °C, we save 52 °C of energy per liter of water if we assume a water supply of 18 degrees Celsius.

Assuming a calorific value of 0.001 kWh/l °C, this corresponds to an energy saving of 0.052 kWh per liter.

Total energy saving: The total annual energy saving is therefore 2,190,000 liters * 0.052 kWh/l = 114,480 kWh.

Cost savings

At an electricity price of €0.40/kWh, this results in annual cost savings of 114,480 kWh * €0.40/kWh = €45,792.

Additional advantages

  • Rapid killing of bacteria: Ultrasound acts directly on the cell structure of bacteria and kills them reliably and quickly.

  • No legionella formation: Legionella bacteria are particularly resistant to heat. By avoiding high temperatures, the formation of legionella in the hot water pipe system is effectively prevented.

  • Environmentally friendly technology: Ultrasonic technology is energy efficient and helps to reduce CO2 emissions.

  • Lower maintenance costs: As no high temperatures are required, there is less limescale and corrosion in the hot water pipes. This leads to lower maintenance costs.
